In intensive traveler flow it is advisable to build more lifts working with common control (duplex, triplex). The advantages of hydraulic lifts are that the engine room could be located virtually anywhere (not necessarily bounded by the lift shaft). Where necessary, it is possible to build a lift without an engine room, it is replaced by the so-called "hydraulic room". Hydraulic lifts have lower operating costs, high reliability, which makes them preferred in modern construction.
In hydraulic drive, lifting capacity of the lifts and facilities can vary widely according to the needs and wishes of the client, used as small dumbwaiters as well as passenger, freight, car and wheelchair platform lifts.
All hydraulic lifts are equipped with a standard load control device, a device for automatic removal of the cab in case of power supply failure, a device for automatic leveling of the cab to the floor platform and a system for manual movement of the cab.
